NEAT OR ON THE ROCKS

Neat:
Pour 2 oz of The Other 49 bourbon into a whiskey glass.

On the Rocks
Fill a whiskey glass with large ice cubes.
Pour 2 oz of bourbon over the ice.

old fashioned

2 oz of The Other 49 Bourbon
1 sugar cube or 1/2 tsp of simple syrup
2-3 dashes of Angostura bitters
Orange twist (for garnish)
Marachino cherry (for garnish)
A glass of ice or a single, large ice cube

Muddle sugar cube and bitters in a glass. Add ice. Pour in bourbon and garnish with an orange twist and maraschino cherry.

MANHATTAN

2 oz of The Other 49 Bourbon
1 oz sweet vermouth
2-3 dashes Angostura bitters
Maraschino cherry (for garnish)

In a mixing glass with ice, combine bourbon, vermouth, and bitters.
Stir until well-chilled.
Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
Garnish with a maraschino cherry.

MINT JULEP

2.5 oz of The Other 49 Bourbon
1/2 oz simple syrup
Crushed ice
8-10 fresh mint leaves, plus a sprig (for garnish)

Muddle mint with simple syrup in a julep cup. Add half crushed ice, and pour bourbon. Stir, top with more ice and garnish with mint sprig.

JOHN COLLINS

2 oz of The Other 49 Bourbon
1 oz fresh lemon juice
1/2 oz simple syrup
Soda water
Lemon slice (for garnish)

In a shaker, combine bourbon, lemon juice, and simple syrup. Shake well. Strain into a tall glass filled with ice. Top with soda water and garnish with a slice of lemon

Boulevardier

2 oz of The Other 49 Bourbon
1 oz Campari
1 oz sweet vermouth
Orange twist (for garnish)

Combine the bourbon, Campari, and weet vermouth in a mixing glass filled with ice. Stir well until chilled. Strain into a chilled glass over ice. Garnish with an orange twist.
